It’s wrong to murder right?!?! We all know it is wrong to murder. Murder is the killing of a human. A fetus is an unborn baby and a baby is a child. How can you say that murder is wrong when you support abortion. There is a waiting list for people to adopt someone. The Bible says that you are not your own and christ bought you at a price (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
Christians how can you say that abortion isn’t wrong and say you follow Christ and you are trying to be like Christ. Jesus saved lives, he didn’t have people killed. I am sure you already know the Bible says thou shalt not kill, word for word. Shame on the churches that teach that abortion is acceptable. Try saying that killing an unborn baby is okay to God the Father. We can’t argue what his word tells us.

Thank you for reading, God bless you.
Is it? Why? Don’t we believe that God is the author and giver of life. Don’t we constantly quote scriptures that speaks of God forming us in our mother’s wombs and creating us in His image. Does God makes mistakes? We are afraid now to speak against abortion as Christian but expect to endure persecution for Jesus when things get tougher? Doesn’t the Lord says He abhors the shedding of innocent life? How can we not bold and stand and preach about this when millions of children are being denied of their right to live. Are you willing to answer for the blood shed just because your lack of faith and fear of men? It’s not the government who should be taking care of this and l the needs in our community ITS THE CHURCH PASTORS, ITS THE CHURCH! But yet you take your support from ministries like this sometimes even because you don’t agree with their leaders for something else not related to the ministry to the unborn. Hypocrisy at its best! #sad#discouraged#church#pastors#politicalcorrectness#fear#lackoffaith#evangelicals#christian#christianwomen#abortion#adoption#judgementday
2017 article but nothing rings truer today!
“It’s Time to Start Calling Evangelicals What They Are: The American Taliban”
The Council For National Policy” is a Conservative Think Tank, made up of a who’s who of prominent conservatives; Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee, Reince Priebus, Tim LaHaye, Bobby Jindal, John McCain… the list goes on…
This article, published by the Washington Post, but reported elsewhere, lays out the group’s plan to “restore education in America,” by bringing god into classrooms.
I have said for years and years, the Christian Right is really seeking to establish a theocracy in the United States — at least regionally, throughout the deep south. And this latest effort by the “Council for National Policy” lays further proof to that claim. This is an effort which — in spite of what many Christian leaders say — is NOT supported by the Constitution. The Constitution strictly prohibits the establishment of Religion, as part of the First Amendment, which also guarantees Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press. The purpose of this “Separation of Church and State” is intended to do two things:
1. It protects religious freedom for everyone.
2. It prevents the tyranny of any one religion.
But this fact won’t stop many southern christians, who feel it is their duty — as christians — to make the United States “a godly nation” in their eyes. And they will cite the numerous biblical passages in which god exhorts all nations to be faithful to him and condemns those nations who are not, as the basis for this duty — which they feel is their right.
I grew up in this world, so I know what I’m talking about. As a kid, during the 1970’s, I attended churches in Atlanta with my devout grandmother. I heard Jerry Falwell speak numerous times at First Baptist on Peachtree. I was indoctrinated into the evangelical way of thinking by a fiery minister in Smyrna. I studied my “King James”
There’s a reason you don’t see these daughters with babies. If you grew up in the south like I did, you know there’s a lot of truth in the stereotypical use of the term, preacher’s kid. My wildest friends were the ones at church every Sunday morning. If their parents could have seen them on Saturday night. There was plenty of unprotected sex, which statistically meant a handful of teen pregnancies, somehow only resulting in a couple of actual deliveries. Granted, that was the 80s when abortion in America had reached its highest peak. Thank Reagan and his large contribution to income disparity for that, btw. So, which family is more likely to quickly hide an unwanted pregnancy? The hippie snowflake family or the family with a public reputation of a “higher moral standard” regardless of the amount of bullshit that consists of? We all know that sex statistics amongst teens of clergy is no different than teens of anyone else. What is to happen to their daughters and even mistresses when the inevitable happens under their own Taliban-style ruling? Will they start stoning their daughters, too, for bringing shame to the family? This is the road they are forging for themselves. How far are they willing to go? At what point in their self-sabotaging journey will it be impossible to turn back? Has it already happened? #abortionban#georgiaabortionban#alabamaabortionban#evangelicalabortionshappen#preachersdaughters#republicandaughters#thishasnothingtodowithlife#itspurelypolitical#sinisterpolitics#abuseofpower#evangelicals#republicans#southernbaptists
#period The #hypocrisy surrounding this whole debate is sickening. The #GOP nor #Evangelicals care about women or children, only fetuses. When the fetus turns into a child, they don't care if that child is hungry, homeless, abused or poorly educated. Miss me with your platitudes about God, who incidentally would want children taken care of... SMH 😡
I know we are still fighting racism in the church, but even as we continue the battle we have to acknowledge that as bad as things are, we're not where we used to be. What progress has been made, specifically among white evangelicals, is largely due to saints like William Pannell. He'll be 90 years old in June and has worked among white evangelicals for decades. He was the first black member of Fuller Theologial Seminary's Board of Trustees as well as their first black faculty member. Throughout all these years he has never stopped advocating and centering black folks while faithfully following Jesus. He is a living legend, and I was honored to conduct an oral history interview with him. .
